If
you've taken a class at our studio in North Carolina, then you've
probably gotten the chance to use our tabletop glass cutter. It's a
simple bar mounted to the table, with a cutting head that slides back
and forth, allowing you to cut perfect straight lines easily and
quickly.
Because we like the cutter so much and we've had so many people ask us
where to get one, we've contracted with a local engineer to build us
some cutters to sell. The cutter is available in two sizes, a
three foot bar (easily cuts two feet by four feet glass sheets), and a
two foot bar (smaller, but cuts standard Bullseye glass sheets).
The cutter is calibrated for standard 1/8" (3mm) thick glass, but it can
also cut 6mm glass if needed.
The cutter is available for $395, a price that includes the cutter bar
assembly, a Toyo cutting head, a zero center ruler, and all mounting
hardware and instructions. All you need to provide is a
screwdriver and the table to mount it on. Once you've used the
cutter, you'll never want to cut strips without it.
