Ferro Sunshine Enamels

Sunshine Enamels are a premium glass enamel that can be used with a wide variety of glasses, including float, Bullseye, System 96, and comparable glasses.      

     Sunshine is sold in powder form. It can be mixed with the binder of your choice. and can be painted with a brush or sprayed with a sprayer or airbrush. They also work well for screen printing.  Available in two ounce containers in a variety of colors.

Refractory Materials

We offer a wide range of specialized and hard-to-find refractory materials, including the following:

110 paper -- a rigid fiber paper that lasts much longer than ordinary soft fiber paper

Isofrax fiber paper -- Unlike most fiber papers, Isofrax meets European regulatory requirements and is not carcinogenic. 

Ceramaguard -- an inexpensive soft board that can be easily cut to make drop rings and molds

Thinfire paper -- a paper thin fiber paper that leaves a smooth finish on the underside of your fused pieces.  Good for one firing only.

970 fiber paper -- Only 1/32" thick, this standard fiber paper can be used where regular fiber papers are too bulky

Bubble Powder

Looking for a reliable, easy way to create and capture bubbles in fused glass pieces?  Try our bubble powder, available in a variety of colors, including a clear that can be mixed with the glass powder of your choice.

        Our bubble powders come in a dry form that can be sprinkled or spooned onto a base glass.  Just cap and fire to a full fuse.  Compatible with most standard fusing glasses, including float glass, Bullseye Glass, and System 96.  Available in two ounce containers in a variety of colors.

Diamond Hand Pads

For removing and smoothing rough spots and sharp edges in fused or cast glass.   The diamonds are glued to a sturdy, color-coded sponge and are durable enough for heavy duty grinding and finishing.  Available in four grits, ranging from 60 (coarse) to 400 (fine).  

Mica Powder

These micas are environmentally safe, non-toxic, and non-tarnishing.  They can withstand firing temperatures up to 1650F/900C, and are suitable for interior and exterior use.

All 24 shades of mica are available in two sizes, 25 grams (.88 ounce) and 100 grams (3.5 ounces).   Price is dependent on the particular shade and size selected.

Powder Sifters

These are the best sifters we've found.  Available in three sizes, from small (1/2" diameter) to medium (1 1/4") to large (2").  In addition, we offer two sizes of line sifters, designed for sifting narrow lines of glass powder.  These work great with any powder and work with enamels and mica, too.
